CJCP Hacks - 25-26

Overview

CJCP Hacks challenges students to build finance-focused applications that could change the world. You can use any programming language or tech stack to create your project, with a focus on financial technology. This hackathon runs for two months, encouraging fresh ideas and innovative solutions in the finance sector.

Requirements

This hackathon is for students aged 13 to 18 and is open to participants worldwide, excluding standard exceptions. Teams can have up to four people. Projects must be started after the event begins, and any work done beforehand will lead to penalties. You can use any Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and any programming language or tech stack. To submit, you'll need a link to your GitHub repository, a demo walkthrough video around 4 minutes long, and a project description covering what your project does, how you built it, the financial problem it addresses, the tools used, and future plans. A working deployment link is optional but recommended.

Prizes

This hackathon offers 4 non-cash prizes. The First Place winner receives an award for the best overall project demonstrating creativity, technical skill, and impact. Second Place is awarded for impressive innovation and solid execution. Third Place recognizes a project with good design, creativity, and potential. Additionally, there are 3 Honorable Mentions given to projects that stood out for their creativity or effort.
