CampusAI x MDC AI & Data Hackathon

Overview

The CampusAI x MDC AI & Data Hackathon challenges University of Michigan students to build AI and data-driven solutions that address real-world learner challenges. You'll have access to workshops and networking with industry leaders and founders.

Requirements

This hackathon is specifically for University of Michigan students who are above the legal age of majority. Teams must consist of 3 to 4 members. You need to identify a real problem faced by learners and use data and AI to build a working solution. The focus is on tackling a specific, real problem rather than a broad one. While the solution doesn't need to be perfect, it must work and be helpful to a struggling learner. You're encouraged to use public open academic datasets, APIs, and public institutional data.

Prizes

There is $2,500 in cash prizes available. The Hackathon Winner will receive $1,000. The 2nd place winner will get $700, and there will be two 3rd place winners each receiving $400.
