Build for Impact — CBC Hackathon @ UR-CST
Overview
Build for Impact is UR-CST's first hackathon, organized by the Claude Builder Club. Student teams will use Claude AI to create real solutions for problems in Rwanda across five tracks: Biology & Physical Health, Neuroscience & Mental Health, Economic Empowerment & Education, Governance & Collaboration, and Creative Flourishing. This event focuses on empowering Rwandan students to become AI creators.

Teams must consist of 3 to 4 members, and companies or professional organizations are not allowed to participate. You need to submit a project name and description, a demo video of no more than three minutes showing a working solution, a link to a public GitHub repository with your code written during the hackathon, a detailed explanation of how Claude AI was used, your track selection, and list all team members (3-4 people) on the Devpost submission. Individual registration is also required on Lu.ma.
