Black Forest Labs - FLUX.1 Kontext [dev] Hackathon
Overview
This hackathon challenges you to explore and expand the capabilities of Black Forest Labs' FLUX.1 Kontext [dev] editing model. You can use the model locally or through partners like FAL and Ostris' AI Toolkit on Hugging Face. The main goal is to discover new uses and workflows for this open-weights model and surprise the organizers with your creations.
Requirements
Participants must be of legal age in their country and can join from anywhere in the world, with standard exceptions. Teams can be any size. You'll build projects using FLUX.1 Kontext [dev] and should aim to apply it in a novel way. For submission, you need to choose a category that best fits your project, provide a text description of its features, a demo video under 3 minutes, and a link to your public code repository with clear instructions on how to use the model.
Prizes
There's over $5,000 in cash prizes plus other rewards. The 'Best Overall' award comes with $3,000 cash. The 'Most Creative Vision' prize also offers $2,000 cash. For the 'Best Local Use Case', one winner will receive an NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPU. Additionally, the 'Best LoRA' winner gets $3,000 in FAL Credits.
