Bitcamp 2026

Overview

Bitcamp is a 36-hour hackathon where you can explore new ideas, learn new skills, and build something amazing. It's beginner-friendly, so whether you're a seasoned hacker or new to it, you'll find something for you. You can join teams for the 'Campfire Games' to compete in challenges and earn points for your team, or participate in the 'Colorwar' live design competition.

Requirements

Participation is open to anyone above the legal age of majority worldwide, with standard exceptions. You must submit your hack to Devpost and participate in person to be eligible for prizes, meaning your whole team needs to check in at some point. Submissions must be worked on during the hackathon period, from April 10th to April 12th, 2026. Projects cannot be submitted to other hackathons. You'll need a code repository for judges to review.

Prizes

Bitcamp offers 37 non-cash prizes across various categories. Some prizes include a Fireplace Aroma Diffuser, drones, astronaut room projectors, sticker printers, moon lamps, Nintendo Switch Stands, and various gift cards. There are also opportunities for mentorship lunches and interviews for internships or grants.
