BatchHacks (Students Only; Open-Ended)

Overview

BatchHacks, hosted by Batch 09, is an open-ended online hackathon for students, encouraging projects that deliver real-world impact. While using AI is preferred, it's not mandatory. Participants will receive feedback from over 30 industry professionals.

Requirements

Participants must be students above the legal age of majority in their country of residence and can be from any country. Submissions must include a GitHub Repository with well-documented source code and materials, a project demo link (if applicable) with usage instructions, and a video (up to 3 minutes) demonstrating the project, its features, technologies used, and how it addresses social good. The video should be uploaded to a platform like YouTube or Vimeo.

Prizes

$1,400 in prizes are available, with specific prize details 'TBD'. It is stated that there will be seven winners, each receiving an estimated $200 value per person. Sponsorships are being sought to finalize prize details.
