AWS x Bruin AI Generative AI Summit

Overview

This hackathon challenges you to build real-world Generative AI applications using Amazon Bedrock and other AWS services. It's a two-day event at UCLA where you'll learn from AWS experts and compete for prizes. The goal is to explore the possibilities of Generative AI and create impactful projects.

Requirements

This hackathon is open to UCLA students who are college students and above the legal age of majority in their country. Participants must be in the US. Teams should have between 2 to 4 members. To submit your project, you'll need to provide a written description of your idea, a demo video up to 5 minutes long, and an explanation of your project architecture and the AWS tools you plan to use.

Prizes

There's a total of $5,700 in cash prizes. The prizes include Amazon Gift Cards, AWS Credits, and Amazon Echo Pops. The top prize winners will also receive mentorship from AWS engineers and solutions architects. Specific prize breakdowns mention 5 winners getting $100 cash each, 12 winners receiving $100 in AWS credits each, and 4 winners getting an Amazon Echo Pop along with t-shirts and mentorship.
