AthenaHacks 2026
Overview
AthenaHacks 2026 is a women-centric hackathon in Los Angeles, welcoming students of all genders and experience levels. It's a weekend packed with workshops, mentorship, and tech talks designed to support underrepresented groups in tech. You'll have 24 hours to build a project focused on themes like Beginner Friendly, DevOps, or Machine Learning/AI.
Requirements
Participants must be college students and above the legal age of majority in their country. The hackathon is open to all countries except for standard exceptions. You need to start and finish your project within the 24-hour hackathon period, from March 28th to March 29th, 2026. Submit your project on DevPost by 2:00 PM on March 29th, including screenshots, pictures, or videos. You must also be physically present at the judging on Sunday afternoon to be eligible for prizes. Make sure to opt-in for any prizes your project qualifies for and include all team Discord usernames.
Prizes
There are 12 non-cash prizes available, including an Apple Watch for Best Overall, Stanley Water Bottles for Best Hack by Bloomberg Engineering, and a $250 Giftogram gift card for Best Hack by CapitalOne. Other prizes include an M5GO IoT Starter Kit, a .Tech Domain Name and Blue Snowball Mics, a Logitech webcam with investor mentorship opportunity, an Arduino Tiny ML Kit, headsets and Raspberry Pi zeros, a Mini Projector, a Portable Photo Printer, and a portable power bank. There's also a bundle for Athena's Favorite.
