AstroHack: AI Hackathon

Overview

This hackathon challenges you to build empathetic AI chatbots that offer personalized life guidance for Indian users, blending Vedic Astrology with Generative AI. The goal is to create sophisticated AI Astrologers that can provide human-like advice on important life decisions like marriage, career, and finances. You'll need to fuse ancient astrological accuracy with the conversational power of LLMs.

Requirements

Teams should build a working prototype, which could be a web app, mobile app, or chatbot. Your solution must use at least one external API or dataset, like an LLM API or an astrological calculation library. The code needs to be available on a public repository like GitHub. When you submit, you'll need to provide a project title, track, a short description, and a video demo no longer than 3 minutes. You also need to include a technical write-up with your tech stack, a data flow diagram showing the AI and astrological components, and a section on how your solution handles ethical and cultural considerations.

Prizes

There is ₹15,000 in cash prizes available. The first-place winner will receive ₹8,000, the second-place winner gets ₹5,000, and the third-place winner receives ₹2,000. These are cash prizes for the top three teams.
