AI in the Outback
Overview
AI in the Outback is a 20-day remote hackathon focused on developing AI-driven solutions for critical challenges faced by regional and rural communities in Australia. Participants will tackle issues such as bushfire response, rural transport, and Indigenous language preservation.
Requirements
Participants must be above the legal age of majority in their country of residence. They are required to form teams and submit a 5-minute demo video, a live demo or hosted link, and a short team description. Projects must address at least one challenge faced by regional or rural Australia using AI.
Prizes
Prizes include Hackeroos Survival Packs for up to 4 team members, direct VC mentorship from Antler, and AI credits from Lovable for the winning projects. There are three non-cash prize categories.
