AI for EDM

Overview

This hackathon challenges you to build an AI agent that can either break down electronic dance music (EDM) tracks into their main parts or create new EDM music from text descriptions. The goal is to make a tool that offers lots of choices for beats and tunes, letting users experiment and get creative with music.

Requirements

Participants must be students above the legal age of majority in their country. Teams should have between 2 to 4 members. The hackathon is open to participants worldwide, with standard exceptions. You need to build a working prototype of an AI EDM track generator or deconstructor. The tool should take text prompts to create EDM loops or tracks, offering multiple beat and tune variations. It should also be able to analyze famous EDM tracks to list their components. You need to submit a link to a deployed web app or hosted demo, code files in a zip format, and optionally a short demo video or documentation explaining the project. The tool must have a clear and simple user interface.

Prizes

The winner will receive $110 in cash and a position as Development Head for the project's future advancement.
