Overview

AdvanceHealth is Ireland's first student-led hackathon focusing on HealthTech and MedTech innovation. It challenges participants to solve real-world healthcare problems like aging populations and unequal access. You'll collaborate with students from medicine, engineering, computer science, business, and design to create ethical and impactful solutions. The event guides you from idea to prototype over three intensive days, with support from industry and clinical mentors.

Requirements

This hackathon is for college students aged 18 and over. Teams should have 2 to 4 members. Participation is limited to specific countries and territories, so check the full rules for details. You'll need to submit a project description, a prototype or MVP, and a 2-3 minute pitch video. A slide deck is also highly encouraged. Teams will be evaluated on innovation, technical execution, feasibility, ethical impact, and presentation.

Prizes

The hackathon offers €1,200 in cash prizes for the winning team. There is one winner expected to receive this prize money.
