ACUHIT

Overview

This hackathon challenges you to build AI models that can find important health information in messy, unstructured medical data like doctor's notes and lab results. You'll use Natural Language Processing and machine learning to extract features, create new health scoring systems, and predict patient outcomes. The goal is to improve how we understand and use patient health data to create better healthcare.

Requirements

You'll need a team of 2 to 6 members, and all participants must be of legal age in their country. The hackathon is open to specific countries and territories. Participants are expected to develop AI-powered models and will need to submit their code, a 10-minute video presentation, and ensure their work is reproducible. This is Phase 1, and the top 16 teams will be invited to a 48-hour on-campus event in Istanbul.

Prizes

There is $7,000 in cash for the single winner of the Kerem Aydinlar Innovation Prizes. Additionally, there are three Sponsor Awards with raffle prizes from sponsors, and other potential prizes not specified. The top 16 finalist teams will be invited to the on-campus hackathon.
