Overview

This hackathon focuses on tackling big challenges in the energy industry. You'll work in a team to create solutions for areas like renewables, electrification, or smart grids. It's a 36-hour event happening in person at Georgia Tech, where you'll brainstorm, design, and prototype your ideas.

Requirements

To join, you need to be 18 years or older and be part of a team with 2 to 4 members. This hackathon is only open to participants in the US. You'll need to choose one of the official tracks – Renewables, Electrification, or Smart Grid – and build a project that addresses a problem within that track. Your submission must include a project report detailing your track, the problem, your process, and the solution, along with a public GitHub repository for code or design files.

Prizes

There's $1,000 in cash prizes for the top three teams. The first place winner gets $500, second place gets $300, and third place gets $200. There are also special prizes for using specific technologies like the Gemini API, Solana, Vultr, ElevenLabs, and Auth0, which include things like Google Swag Kits and wireless earbuds.
