2025 DevSoc Flagship Hackathon

Overview

The 2025 DevSoc Flagship Hackathon challenges you to build a project focused on the theme of AUTOMATE. You can find inspiration from DevSoc's existing projects and utilize their API which contains UNSW data. This is a great opportunity for beginner-friendly participants interested in education, AI, and education.

Requirements

Participants must be above the legal age of majority in their country of residence and form teams of 3 to 5 members. The hackathon is open to specific countries and territories. You can build your project using any technologies as long as it addresses the AUTOMATE theme. Submissions must include your code on a public repository, screenshots of your project, a brief description on DevPost, and a 4-minute pitch video explaining your project and the problem it solves.

Prizes

There are multiple prize categories totaling $600 in cash. The First Place winner will receive $250 and Devsoc merch, the Runner Up will get $150, the People's Choice award is $100, and the First Steps prize is also $100.
