2025 AI Video Contents Contest - Cultural Diversity

Overview

This hackathon invites creators to explore 'New Perspectives in Contents Creation, Cultural Diversity' using AI. The goal is to enhance the quality and value of K-content by sharing stories about cultural diversity and creativity. You'll be using AI for video creation, with possibilities for filming and AI hybrids or pure AI generation.

Requirements

Participants must be of legal age in their country and can join from any country. You can participate as an individual or in a team, but only one submission is allowed per person or team. All team members must jointly own the rights to the submitted work. Submissions require a video that is AI-based and at least 30 seconds long. You also need to complete online courses on cultural diversity through Arte Academy and submit several documents including an application form, video proposal, and evidence of AI utilization. Submissions are made via email as a zip file.

Prizes

There is a total of KRW 18 million in prizes for 10 selected works. The Grand Prize winner receives KRW 5,000,000 and the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award. Two Excellence Award winners will each get KRW 3,000,000 and the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service President’s Award. Additionally, seven Diversity Award winners will each receive KRW 1,000,000 and the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service President’s Award. Winners also get certificates and are invited to an awards ceremony and a conference.
