OS1

OS1 is an open-source AI platform designed to be a user-friendly AI workspace. It brings together autonomous agents, research tools, real-time collaboration, and a flexible system for using various tools. The platform is currently in its early stages of development, with more features being added.

For collaboration, OS1 offers real-time chats where multiple users and AI models can interact simultaneously, with instant updates. Users can also duplicate messages to explore different ideas and get AI help for tasks like summarizing or translating text. AI agents can create, edit, and refine files directly within conversations, managing all outputs like images, videos, code, and documents in a central library.

Vibes

As an open-source project in its alpha stage, OS1 is under active development. Users can set it up easily using a provided Docker Compose file. The main application is available at http://localhost:888 and the admin console at http://localhost:8383. It is recommended that users change the default secret key and update settings for custom domains.

Additional Information

OS1 is built with a modern tech stack. The backend uses FastAPI and Python, with PostgreSQL for the database. The frontend is developed with Svelte and TypeScript. The platform is designed to be self-hostable, offering users full control over their data and the ability to modify the software freely under the BSD 3-Clause license. It also includes enterprise-ready features like single sign-on (SSO), role-based access control, and audit logging. The platform is extensible, allowing for custom tools and community plugins.
